Allison Camp, Ph.D.

Dr. Allison Camp has broad expertise in the biosciences including toxicology, neurobiology, endocrinology, and invertebrate biology. Dr. Camp began her career as a contractor for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the Ecotoxicology program performing developmental and neurobiological toxicity screens with pesticides and source pollutants. At the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), she studied the effects of agricultural pesticides on bumble bee colony growth and development. Dr. Camp excels in scientific communication, and she has led a variety of science outreach activities within the community. She has also won awards for scientific presentations and excellence in teaching, including the 2014 First Place Oral Presentation from the Society of Integrative and Comparative Biology. In her current role at EGC, Dr. Camp derives great satisfaction from helping to advance the cutting edge technologies that her clients are working on and feels empowered to be part of the innovation process. In her free time, Dr. Camp enjoys a variety of creative pursuits, running with friends, and outdoor adventures with her husband.
