Jessica Lerch, Ph.D.

Dr. Jessica K. Lerch began her career in Developmental Neuroscience and gene expression analysis and received support from a Ruth L. Kirschstein Student Fellowship for her graduate studies. Prior to joining Eva Garland Consulting, Dr. Lerch held a faculty position at The Ohio State University in the Department of Neuroscience, where she studied how stress modifies sensory neuron axon growth, regeneration, and pain processing. She was Principal Investigator on an R01 that supported her research while at Ohio State and was Co-Investigator on several R01s, R21s, and foundation grants. As a Scientific Consultant at EGC, Dr. Lerch loves getting to know her clients, their technology, and knowing that she can provide a valuable contribution to their success. She excels in identifying and implementing grant strategies for both early stage as well as clinical-stage companies. In her free time, Dr. Lerch loves to train capoeira, run, and to spend time with friends and family.
