Dr. Jessica K Lerch has a background in molecular biology, developmental neuroscience, Next-Generation gene expression analysis, High-content analysis and screening, and sensory neuron biology. Prior to joining Eva Garland Consulting, Dr. Lerch held a faculty position at The Ohio State University in the Department of Neuroscience where she studied how stress modifies sensory neuron axon growth, regeneration, and pain processing through mechanisms involving glucocorticoid receptor activation. She was Principal Investigator on an RO1 that supported her research while at Ohio State and was Co-Investigator on several RO1s, R21s, and foundation grants. Dr. Lerch’s work is published in many high impact publications. In her free time, Dr. Lerch loves to train capoeira, run, and to spend time with friends and family.
