Kumar Krishnamoorthy, Ph.D.

Dr. Srikumar (Kumar) Krishnamoorthy has diverse expertise spanning bioengineering, computational biology, and medical devices. He has supported grant applications to a variety of federal and state funding agencies, including the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DoD), and Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). Dr. Krishnamoorthy has years of working experience in engineering roles in the medical devices industry and has served as a consultant for biotechnology and medical device startup companies. Additionally, he has served as a reviewer for various bioengineering journals. In his role at EGC, Dr. Krishnamoorthy enjoys supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses towards the development of innovative new technologies using non-dilutive funding. In his free time, Dr. Krishnamoorthy enjoys working on projects with his 3D Printer and CNC machine, brewing mead, and spending time with his wife and son and their mini-menagerie at home.
