Over $12M in NIH Funding Empowers MapHabit to Transform Patient Care and Improve Quality of Life
$12M
Non-dilutive funding awarded
MapHabit was founded in 2018 to improve the daily lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), autism, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias (ADRD). Its scalable platform enables individuals to perform everyday activities more independently and lowers costs associated with long-term care and supervision.
MapHabit has worked closely with EGC to execute a funding strategy to support the development and scaling of its platform that enables patient autonomy and enhances quality of life. To date, the company has secured $12 million in NIH funding, including a $3.8 million award through the Commercialization Readiness Pilot (CRP) Program to further enhance the gamification of its technology.
Backed by technical innovation and NIH funding, MapHabit is redefining care by reducing caregiver burden and improving quality of life across healthcare systems, schools, and home environments.
“EGC’s team has been extremely helpful in positioning our grant applications for success. We have used their expertise in writing, editing and administration. Their deep bench and experienced staff have lightened our load during the grant application. I have referred a dozen colleagues to EGC and will continue to do so.”
– Matt Golden, CEO and Co-Founder, MapHabit
