Pascall Systems Secures More Than $13.6 Million from NIH to Personalize Anesthesia and Improve Surgical Outcomes

Every patient responds differently to anesthesia, yet clinicians have had limited tools to tailor care in real time. Pascall Systems is changing that by developing advanced brain monitoring technology that provides continuous insight into brain activity. The technology enables more personalized anesthesia management and is designed to help reduce the risk of postoperative delirium—a serious complication that affects up to half of older adults after major surgery.
To accelerate development and clinical validation of its technology, Pascall Systems partnered with Eva Garland Consulting to develop a strategic non-dilutive funding roadmap, prepare competitive grant proposals, and manage the financial and compliance requirements that accompany federal awards.
Working with EGC’s Scientific Grants Experts and Accounting & Compliance Team, Pascall Systems secured multiple NIH awards from the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), totaling more than $13.6 million. This funding is helping bring a new generation of personalized anesthesia technology closer to patients.
