Protecting Those in Harm’s Way: Ascent Integrated Technology Secures $7.3M to Advance Warfighter Readiness
$7.3M
Non-dilutive funding awarded
In high-risk environments, those on the front lines often lack real-time visibility into their own health and surroundings—creating critical gaps in safety and decision-making. Ascent Integrated Technology is addressing this challenge with a platform that delivers actionable, real-time insights to those operating in harm’s way.
Recognizing the need for significant non-dilutive funding to advance and deploy this technology, Ascent partnered with EGC to navigate the federal funding landscape and accelerate its growth. Through this collaboration, the company secured more than $7.3 million in competitive funding, including two Air Force Direct Phase II SBIR awards, First Responder Smart Tracking (FRST) Challenge Phases 1-4, Army xTechSearch, and NIST CommanDING Challenge. This funding enabled rapid product development, field validation, and integration within mission-critical environments.
Today, Ascent’s technology is deployed across the U.S. Department of War, federal agencies, and allied partners, supporting hundreds of operators in the field. By delivering real-time, actionable intelligence at the tactical edge, Ascent is enhancing mission readiness, strengthening operational coordination, and helping protect those who put themselves in harm’s way.
