South Dakota–based Medgene Labs is advancing data-driven diagnostics, vaccines, and therapeutics to transform disease management for veterinarians and livestock producers.
Since 2022, Medgene Labs has partnered with EGC to develop and execute a targeted non-dilutive funding strategy. Through that partnership, the company has secured multiple USDA, NIH, and DHS SBIR awards supporting the development of vaccine and diagnostic technologies that target major livestock health challenges—including a protein subunit vaccine for controlling tick-borne pathogens in cattle.
Bolstered by its portfolio of non-dilutive funding, Medgene Labs is accelerating the development of advanced animal health solutions—helping producers improve disease control, reduce uncertainty, and make more informed decisions.
