EGC was selected to lead the grant fundraising efforts for First Flight Venture Center (FFVC) in Research Triangle Park, NC.  FFVC is a technology incubator established in 1991 to support early stage companies with high-impact science that contribute to the economic development of North Carolina.  In her role as Director of Development at FFVC, Dr. Garland will assist FFVC in obtaining funding to further support the incubator’s program offerings.  One of these programs, called “Lift Off”, will provide early stage companies with grant writing assistance so as to accelerate their acquisition of non-dilutive funding, including SBIR/STTR awards.
