Scott Salger, Ph.D.

Dr. Scott Salger has vast experience in molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, and aquaculture. In addition, Dr. Salger was an Assistant Professor of Biology at Barton College where he taught numerous undergraduate courses in Biology and Scientific Writing. In his more than 18 years of scientific research experience he has contributed to and written grant proposals to the federal agencies including the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Science Foundation (NSF), and United States Agency for International Development (USAID), state agencies, and several foundational agencies including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Morris Animal Foundation. At EGC, Dr. Salger enjoys working with scientists and entrepreneurs to help them reach their goals of developing and producing innovations that have the opportunity to change the world. In his free time, Dr. Salger enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and running with his family.
